Monmouth’s Dylan Capwell Eyes NCAA Championships

Best of luck to Dylan Capwell of Monmouth University. The speedy Sophomore (whom we met earlier this season see here) advanced to the quarterfinals after winning his heat in the 800m on Thursday night at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field First Round.

Capwell, who ran the second fastest time of the day with a 1:48.03, advances to tonight’s quarterfinals at 7:15 PM. Out of today’s field of 24, the top-12 times will then advance to the finals at the University of Oregon, June 10 through 14. The sophomore claimed All-American honors during the indoor season, finishing runner-up at the NCAA Indoor Championships.

“Dylan did a really nice job today, getting to the front of his heat and making sure he earned one of the top-three qualifying spots to advance,” said Monmouth head coach Joe Compagni. “[Tonight] will be a touch race, so he’ll need to be ready to go back to work.”

However, I recently inherited my son’s iPhone, …

Bullshit is certainly encouraged…”I did a double black flip on on a double black diamond” for example.…
