Many have called the NJ Marathon & Long Branch Half the greatest races in NJ and after seeing the reactions of runners and fans, this year’s event lived up to its high mark.
Cooler morning temperatures gave way to perfect running weather as 9,000 + runners towed the line at the Monmouth Park Racetrack. The runners carved their way through the streets of the Jersey Shore making their way to the oceanfront finish line in Long Branch. Race Director, Joe Gigas, referred to it as “The greatest finish line on the planet” and most would certainly agree.
