One race that you absolutely need to put on your calendar is the Walpack Wilderness Challenge. The race is Sunday, October 26th, beginning at 9 AM at the Walpack Inn on route 615 in Walpack Center. This is an ideal setting for an Autumn race that we know you will enjoy. This event includes a 6k run, a 21k bike followed by another 2k run. Both runs are on trails and the bike is on a road course, making for an interesting mix of options as you traverse the course in the run-bike-run format. The race is the perfect event to complete yourself or do as a relay team.
What sets this event apart form the rest is its incredible setting. It takes place in one of the most breathtaking sites in the Garden State as it winds through the picturesque hills of Peter’s Valley in Sussex County.
